B & W photograph, 8 x 12.5cm, of Straws Drapery Store. The original store was built in 1913 by Fred Straw, a son of Thomas and Emily Straw, who arrived in Victoria in the 1850s and established a successful drapery store in Sydney Road, Brunswick. This building was opened in 1935 by Fred's son, Eric. Straws long association with Sandringham ended when the business closed in 1982.
