A novel about our ignorant, oppressive, and uneducated public education system of the last few decades, with documentaries, bitter truths and and intense plot. Argyri, a young and talented leading philologist, tells of her first experiences in education at a school in the province and reacts vigorously to the conservative framework imposed on her. At the same time, that love comes to meet her in the face of Alkis, a natural schoolteacher, but has no happy ending. Three years later the action moves to the city of Thessaloniki, where the two meet again and their repressed love flares up. The old harbor of the city with the White Tower and the New Beach, the Upper and Lower Towns, its underground churches, Roman and Byzantine monuments, historical dictatorial taverns, such as the "Domna" in Trigonium, and the " Sheikh Shu 'dragon, tied in an original and extremely interesting plot.
