Bayside Library | COVID Update

All Bayside Library locations are temporarily closed. Contactless services are available.

Following State Guidelines, we have temporarily closed in-location access to help limit the spread of COVID-19. The Library is committed to providing as much public service as safely possible, including 'Click & Collect' services. Place your requests online or by telephone and visit the branch where your items are being held, once you have received email notification confirming availability.

Returns and Reservations.

How can I return my library loans?

Our exterior book return drops remain open 24/7 at all library locations. If you are unable to return your item don't worry as all loans have been extended until June 30th.

I have a reservation ready; can I pick it up?

The library is offering 'Click & Collect'. If you are able to visit a library location as part of the 5 Reasons to Leave Home, you can collect your reservation. Don't worry if you cannot collect your item, as we will hold all reserved items until the library can reopen.

Our Click and Collect Service is available to those who have reserved items ready to borrow and live within a 5km radius of a library location.

Once you have received notification that your reserved items are available for collection, please arrive at the branch which they are held between 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday, or 10am - 4pm on Saturday.

My book is due, but I can’t come into a Library. What do I do?
