Bayside Library has a wide range of material for our junior readers! From first chapter books for newly independent readers in our Early Junior Fiction collection, to Graphic Novels, books for dyslexic readers as well as eBooks, talking books and streaming movies.

Coding

Rainforest Coding is a collection of adventures, activities and resources. These make Scratch programming easier to understand and great fun to learn. There are games to play, projects to remix and lots of sound, graphic and animation.

Let your imagination run wild with thousands of LEGO pieces!  Build boats, bridges and more and use special pieces to create your own unique design! Your creations are displayed in our display cases until the next LEGO club.

Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge encourages kids to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online. The challenge is open to all Victorian children and students from birth to Year 10.
