This is a photograph of a sketch by May Vale of the Bayside coast.May Vale was born in 1862, studied art in Melbourne, London and France and returned to Melbourne in 1890 to teach and paint. She was a contemporary of Margret Baskerville. This sketch was possibly done 1900's or post 1910.
