Photograph b&w, 17.5 x 13cm. Portion of real estate advertisment. This photograph shows 'Jesmond' 66 Hanby Street, Brighton, corner of Dendy Street. In 1883 Cuthbert Ward owned 11 acres in Dendy Street. In 1885 he built a 15 room brick symmetrical italianate house. In 1905 the property passed to a Stella Ward and was known as 'Jesmond'.
