"The Clarinotts is the Viennese family ensemble of father Ernest and brothers Daniel and Andreas Ottensamer. Ernest and Daniel are Principal Clarinets with the Vienna Philharmonic, Andreas holds the same post at the Berlin Philharmonic. The brothers had made music with their father since early childhood, and together they founded The Clarinotts in 2005 to play and enlarge the most virtuosic repertoire for clarinets and orchestra. Loosely themed around the idea of stage music, this first album brings together some of their most popular showstopping arrangements and new pieces written for The Clarinotts"--Container.
