Following the sudden death of her mother, the narrator accidentally discovers a series of letters accompanied by sketches inspired by photographs by American photographer Diane Arbus. Following the lead of these letters, she will plunge into the depths of her family history, into the mines of Serifos, where personal and collective uprisings have drowned. The Two is a multifaceted narrative where writing, photography and painting intersect. It is a novel that traces the threads that unite the collective with personal history and at the same time explores the boundaries of individual identity and sexual desire. Finally, he puts his finger on the wound of the prime mother-daughter bond.
