Charles Henry Caspersonn was born 14/5/1850 in Brighton to Solomon Edward Caspersonn and Lusitania Caspersonn. He died in 1946 aged 96 years. His father, Solomon, was one of the first two doctors in Brighton and the family had 3 blocks of land between Church Street and Well Street close to St Andrews. The family left Bright6on in 1857 to go to Albury. Lusitania became possibly the second woman chemist in N.S.W. (Ref article "Australasian Journal of Pharmacy May 30, 1962 P456)
