About DIY Book Club

If you run your own book club, Bayside Library can support you by:

  • Access to our book club kits (12 copies of the same title) and discussion notes
  • Fact sheets to help you get your book club started and organised

To access our DIY Book Club collection, you must first be registered. The annual registration fee is $156. To enquire about the DIY Book Club program, please contact us. Any member of our Libraries can register their Book Club. Registered members are responsible for the prompt return of Book Club kits.

How it works

1. Place a reservation request on the book club kit of your choice.
2. Pick up the kit when you receive notification that your hold is available.
3. Return all copies + discussion guides when you return the kit by the due date.

You do need to be a paid member of this program to borrow the DIY Book Club Kits.

Book club kits contain 12 copies of the same title as well as discussion notes, and are available for loan by all book clubs registered with Bayside Library. Browse our book club sets, check out the latest additions to our book clubs, or search our catalogue. Can't find the book your club wants? Registered book club members can suggest a book club set.
