Home Energy Efficiency Kits
Members of Bayside Library Service can borrow our new Home Energy Efficiency Kits, which are designed to help you assess the energy efficiency of your home. These kits are designed to help you take action to make your home more efficient, reduce emissions and save money. Measuring your energy and water use at home, will help you identify where you can reduce usage to lower your bills.
Each kit comprises of the following items:
- Digital Light Meter
- Power Mate Lite
- FLIR Thermal Camera
- Thermometer
- Oven Thermometer
- CO2 Monitor
- Water Flow Cups
The easy-to-use kits come with a step by step guide to help you check water flow, inefficient fixtures, high energy use items, costly energy consumption behaviours, and building design flaws such as gaps. With this information, you will be able to take action to improve energy and water efficiency around the home, and benefit from cost savings on your bills.
