Bayside Libraries are dedicated to providing opportunities for our community to divert as much as they can from landfill. 

We have recycling stations at our Beaumaris, Brighton and Sandringham Libraries. These recycling stations allow you to recycle what you may have thought was ‘unrecyclable’ free of charge and continue to reduce what goes into landfill by dropping off the following items.

• Household batteries including cordless power tools
• Small e-waste items including phones, tablets, cameras
• CD’s, DVD’s, Video and Cassettes including covers
• X-Rays
• Light globes and fluorescent tubes
