This is a photograph of a sketch by May Vale of the bayside coast. May Vale was born in 1862, studied art in Melbourne, London and France and returned to Melbourne in 1862 to teach and paint. She was a contemporary of Margaret Baskerville. This sketch was possibly done early 1900's or post 1910.
