This photograph is of a woodblock etching on the front page of the `Sketcher'. It is a very unusual view of an encampment of aborigines in Brighton in 1885 dressed totally in western clothing.

(Was apparently the first meeting place of Brighton borough council. It was purchased by Bruce Terry of Moule ave in 1981...

Brighton Lodge was the home of the A'Beckett family.
