This study identifies and assesses places of heritage significance across the municipality that were under-represented in previous heritage studies. The study concentrates on inter-war and post-war places of significance. Also reviewed is the existing thematic history of previous studies in order to identify any additional themes of particular pertinance to the inter-war and post-war period of development.
