Good example of a 19th century Italianate villa with cast iron work and a classically detailed porch. It was built in 1896 for George Porter, a grazier. It was named "Ashurst" in 1898 by Edward M. Etheridge and renamed "Danubia" in 1910 by Arthur Strauss. Later occupants were Mrs Rea Parson 1910, John Crebbin 1920-1940 and Mrs Esther Crebbin 1950.
